Today was a beautiful fall day in Western Montana. Lately, days like this have been very rare. One of the great things about Missoula, is the easy access to backcountry areas an National Forests. This year those areas are all on fire. Missoula is also called the five valleys, because five valleys meet here. Because of that smoke from the surrounding fires tends to set in. Not today! Today we woke up to cool air, blue skies, and sunshine!

This morning was the tenth day of my at home CrossFit routine. The workout today was three rounds for time of twenty tuck jumps and thirty sit ups. Tough but not impossible. I was dying! Not sure why. Oh yeah, yesterday for breakfast we made homemade cinnamon rolls.

Delicious right? It also saved us money instead of buying breakfast at the farmers market. And then this morning’s lackluster workout.
Oh. That’s what happened. I pushed on though. It was too nice of a day to waste. After my final pathetic sit ups I took the dogs for a run down by the river.
