For a lot of people, exercise is all about inertia. Getting started. The first step is certainly one of the most difficult for me. This morning I actually made it out of bed in time for a workout. This afternoon I had every intention of taking the dogs for a run and doing another workout. Then I got home. I sat down. I turned on the TV. Bye bye motivation.
Dylan is our Miniature Schnauzer. He was really looking forward to a run this afternoon. When he wants to go on a run, he runs into the bedroom, takes my socks and runs around the house with them. It wasn’t much but it was enough to get me off the couch and go outside.
He will have his run!
Then he was happy.
We had some extra roasted butternut squash from tacos earlier this week. We used that for a pizza topping with olive oil, leeks, and local feta and mozzarella cheese.
